Hy\u00e8nes, ce doit \u00eatre un coup de poing\u2026
Le spectateur doit recevoir le texte \u00e0 la pointe du menton. Ici l\u2019esquive est impossible. Entrer au th\u00e9\u00e2tre et le recevoir violemment dans la gueule.
Vouloir monter Hy\u00e8nes et avoir peur de sa violence serait un contresens.
Ce texte, ce doit \u00eatre une exp\u00e9rience sensible. Il faut avoir peur, se perdre, le savoir coupable, le savoir innocent. Vouloir l\u2019entendre, vouloir qu\u2019il se taise \u00e0 jamais. L\u2019aimer, le ha\u00efr. Spectateur, toi qui entre voir Hy\u00e8nes\u2026 sache que tu entres sur un ring. Les mots te taperont, te bousculeront, te provoqueront.
Oui il faut voir Hy\u00e8nes et \u00eatre malmen\u00e9. Non pas pour le plaisir du masochisme. Mais parce que ce texte est essentiel.<\/p>

Parce qu\u2019il nous parle d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, des maux d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui. Comme un historien, en se plongeant dans notre sombre histoire, Sim\u00e9on rend plus perfectible, plus saisissant les maux d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.
Ce n\u2019est ni du journalisme d\u2019investigation, ni du compassionnel contemporain.<\/p>

Sim\u00e9on ne pointe pas du doigt les errements de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s. Il ne se drape pas dans le manteau de l\u2019indignation devant la mis\u00e8re, la pauvret\u00e9, l\u2019exclusion, l\u2019injustice.
Et ainsi sans \u00eatre un texte ni militant ni politique, la m\u00e9taphore historique est \u00e9minemment politique et th\u00e9\u00e2trale. Et c\u2019est bien parce que ce texte est avant tout un texte de th\u00e9\u00e2tre qu\u2019il est politique.<\/p>

\u00ab Le geste artistique de Christian Sim\u00e9on est simple. Il convoque au th\u00e9\u00e2tre des spectateurs pour leur raconter une histoire. Mais dans Hy\u00e8nes, Sim\u00e9on assume d\u2019\u00eatre au th\u00e9\u00e2tre\u2026 Ce n\u2019est ni de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, ni de la litt\u00e9rature\u2026 Ce texte assume la repr\u00e9sentation. \u00bb<\/span><\/h4>

\u00a0<\/p>

Th\u00e9odore Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beno\u00eet s\u2019adresse au spectateur, il lui parle, il le questionne. Il n\u2019est pas l\u00e0 pour le divertir\u2026 il est l\u00e0 pour marquer sa m\u00e9moire.<\/p>

La langue de Sim\u00e9on emp\u00eache la caricature.<\/p>

L\u2019important dans Hy\u00e8nes est \u00e9videmment le trouble que doit ressentir le spectateur. Le trouble est contenu dans le texte mais c\u2019est aussi la ma\u00eetrise du personnage qui est fascinante. Ma\u00eetrise de la langue avant toute chose. Chaque mot est pes\u00e9, d\u00e9licat, violent.
Thierry Falvisaner Th\u00e9odore Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beno\u00eet sait exactement ce qu\u2019il dit\u2026 \u00e0 tel point qu\u2019on peut se demander si ses \u00e9motions m\u00eames ne sont pas feintes ou jou\u00e9es.<\/p>

J\u2019imagine un d\u00e9cor assez d\u00e9pouill\u00e9, qui repr\u00e9sente tout de m\u00eame la situation du personnage. Il est enferm\u00e9 ; ainsi un matelas, une table, une chaise, une cuvette de toilettes, un miroir et quelques cailloux suffisent.
Tous ces objets devront \u00eatre blancs et propres. L\u2019essentiel est de montrer le peu de chose qui entoure Th\u00e9odore Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beno\u00eet. Il est inutile de vouloir figurer la salet\u00e9 qu\u2019on imagine dans ces espaces.
Ce qui est sale c\u2019est l\u2018enfermement, le proc\u00e8s \u00e0 charge, les mots.<\/p>

Au contraire cela doit \u00eatre propre et Th\u00e9odore Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beno\u00eet est \u00e9l\u00e9gant, certainement tr\u00e8s bien habill\u00e9.<\/p>

Il est d\u2019une certaine mani\u00e8re un danseur de tango, tr\u00e8s beau, intrigant, charmant, dr\u00f4le et dangereux. En tout cas c\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019il nous appara\u00eet.<\/p>

Les couleurs utilis\u00e9es pour le spectacle sont ainsi r\u00e9duites : du blanc, du noir et du rouge.<\/p>

De m\u00eame pour la lumi\u00e8re, j\u2019imagine des choses radicales, notamment construire une cage de lumi\u00e8re rouge autour de Th\u00e9odore Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beno\u00eet.<\/p>

Nicolas Grellier s\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 empar\u00e9 de la musique du spectacle, il compose \u00e0 la contrebasse des th\u00e8mes qui accompagneront de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9currente le personnage.<\/p>

Michel Fau, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier interpr\u00e8te de ce texte, nous fait l\u2019honneur de pr\u00eater sa voix \u00e0 Ma\u00eetre Chaix d\u2019Est-Ange.<\/p>
